Through a series of gradual improvements, the current Supernova E3 has become so much better than all previous models that we have decided to distinguish it by adding a PRO to its name.

Main impreovements of the new E3 PRO:

• Newly developed glare-free lens
With the support of the Light Technology Institute in Karlsruhe, southern Germany, the Supernova development team has been able to continually improve the illumination characteristics of the new lens. The challenge was to both pass the compliancy test to German road traffic standards and yet create an illumination pattern that would be homogeneous and wide, and have an intensive light at the same time. The result is a lens that not only illuminates roads very well while keeping within legal parameters, but that may also be used quite well for off-road riding because of its wide beam.

• More powerful electronics
Thanks to its new electronics, the E3 PRO now has 35% more brightness at low speeds than the previous model. The typical flickering on hub dynamos has been almost eliminated.

• New standlight capacitor
The Goldcap capacitor has been upgraded to a model 25% stronger. It now charges much faster and can support the light at low speed as well as giving you a very bright 5-minute stand light. An overcharge protection circuit ensures a very long lifespan.

• New LED with 25% more brightness
The E3 PRO is always equipped with the brightest LED available. The new emitter is 25 % brighter than on the previous model.
